I would like to welcome Nora Schwitzer to our vet team at Animal House Vets.

Nora joined us in February 2014 but she is not new to the team! Some of our Chalks Road clients may remember her from when she first visited our Chalks Road Surgery some 7 years ago when she initially started out as a Vet seeing practice in the UK.

Since that time Nora has been working in exclusively small animal practice in the South West and Wales. With our increasing caseload we were delighted that the opportunity arose for Nora to join us permanently – as she says it feels like she has come “home”. Like Mark Nora will work across all four of our surgeries.

Nora qualified from Munich University, Germany in 2003, completed a PhD in Lemur ecology and worked 2 years in Madagascar. In 2007 she came to the UK and concentrated on first opinion practice in small animal medicine and surgery. She particularly enjoys Dermatology cases and the challenge to “get it right” for each individual client.

Nora has a cat, three guinea pigs and three children which keep her busy outside of work. She hasn’t forgotten her time in Madagascar and still takes an interest in Conservation and Wildlife. She loves being outdoors and enjoys running and walking.
